Production Light and Sound has supported COEO’s flagship industry events in Leeds, delivering full technical production for large-scale conferences focused on industry discussion, presentations and live audience Q&A.
COEO is a market-leading collections agency, with a strong focus on customer engagement and best practice in credit management.
COEO hosts an annual industry event bringing together professionals from across the collections and credit management sector. Originally launched as Elevating Collections, the event has since rebranded as the Customer Focus Summit.
Working with COEO
Production Light and Sound has supported COEO’s annual conference events across multiple years, providing full technical production as the event has into larger venues and bigger audiences.
Recent events have taken place at venues including The Met Hotel, Leeds and Aspire, Leeds, with production adapted to suit different spaces while maintaining a consistent, professional standard
The challenge
COEO’s events are content-heavy and tightly scheduled, with a full programme of speakers, panels and live discussion. Audio, video and lighting need to work first time, with no room for drift once the event is live.
Key challenges included:
- Supporting full-day conference programmes with multiple speakers
- Integrating large-format video into different venue layouts
- Managing live feeds, presentations and audience Q&A
- Creating an engaging stage environment without distracting from content
What we did
For COEO’s events, Production Light and Sound delivered full production support, including:
- Stage and set build, including scenic surrounds and draping
- Large-format LED video walls (up to 6m x 4m) for presentations and live content
- AV systems integrating live feeds and presentation control
- Sound systems for speakers and panel discussions, including radio microphones and audience interaction tools
- Lighting design and supply for stage, set and room illumination
- A full technical crew supporting build, rehearsals and live operation

- LED video walls (6m x 3m and 6m x 4m configurations)
- Professional PA systems with radio and handheld microphones
- Audience engagement tools, including the throwable microphone Catchbox
- Stage, room and feature lighting, including LED uplighting, movers and profile fixtures
- AV control systems for live switching and presentation management
- Experienced production crew on site throughout
The outcome
COEO’s annual events has developed year on year and is now a regular date in COEO’s industry calendar.
The focus was on keeping the production reliable and unobtrusive, so speakers, panels and audience sessions could run to schedule without technical distractions.
